Our vision is that Australian creators of children’s literature are valued for their role in the preservation and shaping of our culture.

Our mission is to support the creativeness and careers of contemporary Australian children's authors and illustrators by building a capital base sufficient to purchase and maintain capital city studio apartments; and to use the apartments to provide Creative Time Residential Fellowships (CTR Fellowships) for Australian children’s authors and illustrators at all stages of their career development.
